I just picked up a BRP that has had a Mikuni 41mm slide pumper carb. The engine hesitates on quick gear shifts where the throttle is closed and reopened quickly. The engine noses over for just a split second and then gets going. I have not had time to look at the issue. I do not have any of the paper work that came with the carb. I am thinking that either the accelerator pumping is not feeding extra fuel in during the quick turn of the throttle.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what the issue might be and how to address it? I will update this post if I find time to pull the tank off and look at the carb.
